Born in Chicago, Dr. Strnad attended Texas Christian University and the Chicago Medical School. After fulfilling a three-year internal medicine residency at the University of Oklahoma’s Tulsa Medical College, he completed a three-year combined fellowship in medical oncology and hematology at Vanderbilt University.
Dr. Strnad is certified by MD Anderson Cancer Network®, a program of MD Anderson Cancer Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology. Dr. Strnad serves as the director of blood and marrow stem cell transplantation for Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute.
